The World Forum for Democracy 2024 is a great chance for smart people in the Council of Europe. It’s open to everyone, no matter their gender, marital status, disability, race, ethnicity, beliefs, color, religion, or sexual orientation. This fully-funded event aims to build stronger democratic societies by creating more inclusive systems and institutions.
Taking part in this democracy forum in France will help spread new ideas within institutions, strengthening democracy globally. Supporters and critics of democracy will discuss its future, making this a valuable event for policymakers and officials who want to promote democratic values.
This forum in Europe is a fantastic opportunity for young people to get involved, share their views on democracy, and organize activities. Participants can join various labs and side events that match their skills and interests. As active partners in the forum, they can contribute fresh ideas and initiatives. You need to be able to work and communicate in English and be motivated to share innovative thoughts about youth and democracy.
The 2024 WFD in France will include talks about successful projects and realistic approaches. The forum will set general principles to guide future policies. About 50 to 60 young people will be invited to join discussions with key decision-makers about democracy and information. Before the main event in Strasbourg, there will be an introductory session to meet fellow participants and supervisors, and to learn about the forum’s goals.
