Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be citizens and permanent residents of a developing country.
- Be under 35 years of age.
- Be enrolled in a PhD program in their home country or another developing country (excluding Turkey).
- Be at the final stage of their PhD or have passed the PhD qualifying exam.
- Provide a letter from their PhD advisor confirming engagement in research work.
- Have proficiency in English.
- Not hold Turkish or any other developed country’s visa or residency.
- Hold a master’s degree in natural and related applied sciences.
- Not undertake any other work during the fellowship.
- Support their family independently.
- Not have received this fellowship before.
- Commit to returning to their home country upon completing the fellowship.

How to Apply
- Obtain acceptance from a host department in Turkey.
- Create a profile on the TÜBİTAK Researcher Information System (ARBİS) at https://arbis.tubitak.gov.tr.
- Submit an application via the TÜBİTAK online system (TYBS).
- Complete the application form, providing personal and educational information.
- Upload all required documents and submit the form.
Only online applications will be accepted, and late submissions will not be considered. Candidates can apply to only one program.
