The RISE Summer Internship 2025 is a fully-funded opportunity for undergraduate students to gain international research experience in Germany. This prestigious program is designed to foster student exchange and expose participants to Germany’s research culture, academic opportunities, and vibrant lifestyle. Interns will conduct research at top German universities and research institutions, supported by the German Federal Foreign Office.
RISE Germany 2025 offers 300 scholarships to international students pursuing degrees in science and engineering. Participants are matched with host institutions according to their fields of study and work alongside doctoral students or researchers on cutting-edge projects in world-class labs. It’s a rare chance for undergraduates to immerse themselves in research, collaborate with experts, and spend their summer in Germany.
This fully-funded internship covers all expenses, offering financial support and valuable professional development. Interns will not only benefit from research exposure but also have the chance to explore German culture, learn the language, and engage with fellow students from around the world. The program includes site visits, social events, and weekend activities, all contributing to long-lasting friendships.
The RISE Summer Internship runs for three months and is open to both male and female students. The program is conducted in English, and no IELTS/TOEFL certification is required, although applicants must demonstrate strong English proficiency.
