ODI Fellowship Scheme 2024

The ODI Fellowship Scheme for 2024-2026 is an international program that invites fellows to work in public sector organizations across various countries. These countries include middle and low-income nations in Africa, Asia, the Pacific, The Western Balkans, and the Caribbean.

As a fellow, you’ll work as a local civil servant, directly reporting to local managers. This offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in different cultures and contribute to meaningful projects in fields like finance, planning, health, education, statistics, central banks, and regulatory bodies.

Participating in the ODI fellowship not only enhances your technical and administrative skills but also shapes your overall personality to meet professional market demands. It brings together individuals from diverse backgrounds, fostering collaboration for global development.

Engaging with people from various walks of life allows you to hone your interpersonal skills, crucial for effective teamwork and nation-building. The work environment encourages individuals to address societal injustices and inequalities, promoting a sense of social responsibility.

The values upheld by ODI differ from its funders, emphasizing best practices, innovative methodologies, and continuous improvement in all responsibilities. Everyone, including staff and partners, is treated with fairness and respect.

ODI believes that fostering a conducive work environment leads to increased productivity and progressive development. Transparency is a cornerstone of its operations, with detailed reports on the use of public funds and regular communication with stakeholders.
