Leiden University offers the Minerva Scholarship for 2024-25, funded by The Minerva Scholarship Fund Foundation (MSF), which started in 2009. This scholarship supports Leiden University students in their research and study projects at top colleges and organizations around the world. It helps students grow internationally, whether through focused research internships or studying abroad, thereby enhancing their general knowledge and contributing to scientific understanding.
Leiden University has seven faculties: Archaeology, Law, Medicine, Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences, and Governance and Global Affairs. The MSF funds projects in all these areas. This scholarship allows students to benefit from internships, fellowships, or scholarships in foreign institutions, working with people of different viewpoints and sharing knowledge.
The MSF scholarship in Holland is accessible, practical, and transparent. Few other funds have such independent and qualified people who recognize real talent and important projects. Applications are reviewed by an Allocation Committee of Leiden University lecturers. To grow financially, MSF organizes dinners and fundraising activities, with generous contributions from committed supporters who know the importance of helping students during their education.
Minerva is the first student organization to realize the importance of supporting its members and other ambitious students in their studies, both abroad and at Leiden. It encourages students’ advancement and innovation in science. If you’re a Leiden University student with dreams of studying, researching, or interning abroad but are worried about the costs, the Minerva Scholarship is a great opportunity for you.
