The 2025 Junior Summer Institute (JSI), offered through the PPIA Fellowship, aims to cultivate the next generation of public policy leaders. This prestigious international fellowship not only provides an intensive graduate school preparatory program but also grants lifelong membership to PPIA’s Alumni Network. In 2025, JSI Fellows will be hosted at leading U.S. public policy graduate schools such as Berkeley, Carnegie Mellon, Harvard, Ford, and Princeton.
The PPIA Fellowship is open to students from diverse backgrounds. Participants in this comprehensive seven-week program, designed for rising seniors, will deepen their understanding of modern issues and trends. They will explore various career paths in public service and global leadership while building the academic skills needed for higher education success.
Program Highlights: JSI Fellows receive a fully funded Summer Institute experience in the U.S. They will network with organizations, graduate schools, and peers, building connections that can propel their future careers. After completing the fellowship, they are invited to attend the annual Public Service Expo to further expand their professional networks and opportunities.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must graduate between December 2025 and August 2026
- U.S. citizens and permanent residents are eligible
- International students must be enrolled in a U.S.-based institution pursuing their first bachelor’s degree
- Applicants should be committed to contributing new perspectives and supporting underrepresented communities, including African Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanics, Latinos, Native Americans, Pacific Islanders, and others
