Scholarship Outline
- Host Country: China
- Host Establishment: University of Science and Technology of China.
- Duration: July 01 to August 25, for undergraduates & July 01 to July 30, 2024, for graduates.
- Degree Level: Bachelor’s & Master’s degree.

Eligibility & Criteria for Qualification
- You must be a full-time student at your university while you’re at USTC.
- Graduate students and recent graduates can apply too.
- If you’re studying any of these subjects, you’re eligible:
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Materials Sciences
- Life Sciences
- Earth Sciences
- Space Sciences
- Mathematics
- Engineering
- Computer Sciences, and other related subjects.
- You need to have completed at least two years of your studies in one of these subjects.
- You should have good grades in your studies.
- Your CGPA should be a Grade “B” or higher.
- You should have a good understanding of English.
- Anyone, no matter their race, gender, religion, etc., can apply.
- Things you’re interested in.
- A statement saying why you want to join.
- Proof that you know a language well.
Documents Needed
- School grades paper.
- Resume.
- A letter from someone who recommends you.
- The page of your passport with your information.
How to Apply
- Go to the USTC official website.
- Click on the “apply now” button for the FuSEP online application form.
- If you study engineering, mathematics, or computer sciences, apply for the Global Research Immersion Program for Young Scientists.
- Fill in your details like your name, gender, nationality, etc.
- Share your location in the form.
- Provide your study details, including your degree name, university name, majors, etc.
- Make sure to submit the supporting documents asked for in the application form.
- Show evidence that you’re good at English.
- Write a statement of purpose in 800 words.
- Check your application form carefully before submitting it.
