Eligibility for the Humboldt Research Fellowship in Germany:
- Educational Background: Candidates must have completed a Ph.D., C.Sc., or equivalent qualification at least four years before applying.
- Nationality: German nationals may apply if they have lived and worked abroad for at least five years with the intention of staying permanently.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of German is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Residency Requirement: Eligible applicants must have resided outside of Germany for a total of at least 12 months in the 18 months before submitting their application.
