Eligibility & Criteria Selection for Qualification

  • To apply for the internship, you must be from a country that is a member of FAO.
  • You can either have recently finished your studies at a real institution or currently be studying at one for an undergraduate or graduate degree.
  • You should be really good at one of FAO’s official languages: English, Arabic, Spanish, French, Russian, or Chinese. If you know two languages, that’s a plus.
  • You need to be between 21 and 30 years old.
  • You should be able to adapt easily to different cultures from around the world.
  • You need to be good at communicating.
  • You should know how to use basic computer programs well.
  • Before the internship starts, you should have legal permission to stay in one of the countries that are members of FAO.
  • Please remember, if any of your family members like your mom, dad, brother, or sister work for the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) on any kind of contract, you can’t apply for this internship.
