About the CERN OPENLAB

Eligibility Requirements
To apply for the CERN OPENLAB Summer Student Program, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program with a strong focus on computing, IT, or a related discipline.
- Have completed at least three years of full-time university-level studies by summer 2025.
- Students who will graduate in May 2025 are eligible to apply.
- Maintain student status throughout the duration of the internship (i.e., must be enrolled at a university during the program).
- Applicants should not have previously worked at CERN.
- The program welcomes applications from students of all nationalities.
