Tsinghua University Amgen Scholars Program 2025 | Fully Funded

The Tsinghua University Amgen Scholars Program 2025 is an exceptional opportunity designed to broaden research prospects for undergraduate students who are committed to pursuing careers in the sciences. This fully funded 8-week residential summer internship in Beijing, China, offers participants the chance to gain hands-on experience in advanced research and explore the fields of biotechnology and drug discovery under the guidance of renowned faculty members at Tsinghua University.

The Tsinghua University Amgen Scholars Program provides a unique platform for students to immerse themselves in a real-world lab environment. Interns will have the opportunity to collaborate on specialized research projects within a faculty lab. Each scholar will be assigned a faculty mentor and receive training and support from graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, or lab technicians. Scholars will engage actively in lab work and participate in academic activities such as weekly lab meetings, group discussions, and presentation workshops, as well as a series of lectures delivered by experts across the Tsinghua campus.

In addition to research, students will attend a pan-Asian symposium, a highlight of the program where Amgen Scholars from different universities can network, learn directly from distinguished scientists in academia and industry, and share their research experiences. Interns will also enjoy a variety of extracurricular activities, including networking events and cultural excursions to explore Beijing and experience Chinese traditions and lifestyle.
