Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Swedish Institute Scholarship 2025, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Citizenship: Applicants must be citizens of one of these countries: Bangladesh, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Nigeria, Philippines, Rwanda, South Africa, Thailand, or Vietnam.
- Application Limit: Applicants with dual citizenship from eligible countries must choose one and submit only one application.
- Application Fee: Pay the master’s program application fee on time through the University Admissions portal.
- Conditional Admission: Applicants must be conditionally admitted to an eligible master’s program by the announcement date in March 2025. Late admissions will not be considered.
- Enrollment Status: Candidates should not be currently enrolled in a master’s program at any Swedish university.
- Previous Awards: Applicants who have already received an SI scholarship or hold a degree from a Swedish university are not eligible.
- Residency Restrictions: Applicants must not have lived in Sweden for more than two years before applying for this scholarship.
