The Young Public Diplomacy Summit (YPDS) 2024 invites applications from aspiring leaders to join a transformative event in Doha, Qatar, from November 7-9, 2024. This summit offers young talents a platform to explore diplomacy, peacebuilding, strategic communication, youth engagement, and global partnerships. No IELTS, TOEFL, or other language test is required.
At YPDS 2024, participants will immerse themselves in public diplomacy through various modules covering modern diplomacy practices, the importance of indigenous cultures, and the role of cultural attachés. They will also learn how art combats disinformation, find inspiration in figures like Rumi and Yunus Emre, and explore the power of literature and storytelling in diplomacy.
The Young Cultural Diplomacy Forum (YCDF) by the Center for Strategy and Cultural Diplomacy (CSCD) complements YPDS by exploring cultural diplomacy’s evolving role. Key topics include AI’s influence on diplomacy, Shakespeare’s impact, tourism as a cultural exchange driver, and sports diplomacy. Participants will gain valuable insights into how culture can foster global cooperation and understanding.
