Youth Interfaith Leaders Fellowship is a fully funded leadership program in the USA. It is a week-long residential program at Duke University, designed for the next generation of climate leaders. This fellowship provides a unique opportunity for young people to join a growing network of climate activists inspired by faith. Through lectures, interactive sessions, discussions, and hands-on training, participants will learn how to create effective climate action plans for their communities.
The program features experts in religious studies, media, community service, cross-cultural relations, and climate change. During the fellowship, participants will gain a deep understanding of how to apply these principles in their work as community organizers and climate leaders. The focus is on the natural environment and its connection to justice, leadership, and community. Participants will also improve their communication skills to become persuasive and empathetic speakers who can shape public debate and influence decision-makers.
Upon completing the program, participants will join the FFOP Fellowship Alumni Association, which offers opportunities to engage in climate campaigns and events organized by FFOP. The FFOP global youth conference brings together people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and religions to promote mutual respect and understanding. It also enhances their knowledge and skills to highlight the role of faith in significant climate action.
The fellowship will take place at Duke University, known for its distinguished academics, including three Turing Award winners and fifteen Nobel Laureates. Duke University’s strong academic reputation, diverse culture, and commitment to interfaith dialogue make it an ideal host for the annual FFOP Youth Interfaith Leaders’ Fellowship on Climate Change. The fellowship is fully funded, with no registration fee. Selected candidates will receive airfare, accommodation, and meals during the program. This is a great opportunity to visit the USA without financial burdens. Apply now to seize this chance.
